Gazpacho

It is refreshing and cool during the overbearing heat of the Spanish summers. With ancient history, the main ingredients of this dish often include stale bread, tomato, cucumber, bell peppers, onion, garlic, olive oil and traditional seasonings.
There are many different variations of Gazpacho, including regional, which substitute ingredients to make very different dishes in most cases. However, the underlying flavours and heritage of the dish remain constant. For a hot day on your tour, this is the most perfect and filling dish you could find.
Polvorón
This fantastic dish is a type of Spanish shortbread made from flour, sugar, milk and nuts, mainly almonds. It is heavy, soft and really crumbly, and is a favourite in Andalusia, as well as in many other parts of the Iberian Peninsula. This dish was brought to Spain by the Arabs and is now part of the Andalusian tradition. Originally consumed during Christmas, these treats are available all year round now, delighting many who live in the country and who visit it as well!
